Are your candles environmentally friendly?
Jade: Hi @woodsyjen86!
The short answer is YES!
Let me tell you a few reasons why:
Our candles are made of soy wax which is a renewable resource & soybeans require much less fertilizer to be grown than other renewable crops
Clean burn - soy wax is non-toxic and won't send nasty stuff into the air
Soy wax has a long burn time so you can enjoy your candle for longer - less waste!
Our packaging is absolutely recyclable!
We love our planet and we love to live in a green way!
I want to take pictures of my candles for y'all to feature but they always come out blurry 😭 any tips?
Jade: Hi @kaitlyn..gif!
The first thing I always check to see is if my camera lens is clean!! Your phone is all over the place all day so it's prone to getting fingerprints and smudges all over the lense. With a dirty camera lens, all of your pictures will be blurry!
Secondly, make sure that your lighting is good and what you're taking a picture of is well lit! If you tend to have a shaky hand this could also lead to a blurry picture try putting your elbow on a table to even out your shot! 📸
Pro Tip #1: Natural sunlight near a window is amazing for great photos!
Pro Tip #2:Flat lays are super cute and easy. Just lay your candle on a tabletop or a sweater for a nice background and arrange all of your favorite items around it. Take a photo from a bird's-eye view and viola! You're all set. (peep our instagram pics for some examples)
My ring came out of my candle a little waxy, what's the best way to clean it?
Jade: Hi @lisaannconti!
Sometimes finding your ring can get a little messy. No worries, we gotchu!
First off, when you grab your foil packet out of your candle make sure to have a paper towel nearby, this will be a huge help! Once you've unwrapped your foil to find your jewelry you may find that you've gotten wax on your ring, that's ok, don't panic.
All you have to do is run it under warm water for a little while and the wax will melt right off. There you go! Now you're ready to wear your beautiful new gem!
