I wanna stock up on a bunch of your candles during one of your bigger sales but I might not get to some of them for a while. How long do your candles last?

So, to answer your question - No, candles don't have an expiration date however, you're going to want to use them within 12-18 months. Because we use a plant-based (soy) wax there is a chance that it could start to degrade slightly if kept REALLY long term. Also, some natural fragrances start to become less strong as well. We find that most people have no problem using their candles up within a year - mostly because they're excited to get their jewelry - so you should be pretty good!

If you do plan on keeping your candles longer than 18 months there are a few steps you could take to keep them fresh for longer. One way would be keeping them out of direct sunlight as UV rays tend to cause most natural products to break down a bit faster than they would otherwise. You can also keep them in an opaque, airtight bin to keep them out of the sunlight and also keep the fragrance oils in a while longer.
