Jade: Hi Tamara!

Thanks so much for your question about live Jackpot events on Facebook! With all the different updates, events, and posts that pop up in your feed from friends and businesses that you follow it’s definitely hard to keep track of when and where I’m going to do Facebook Live, but I’ve got you covered.

First, let’s talk about when I’m on. 

I do a regular Facebook Live event every week at 6pm EST (pro tip: you can sign up for reminders by clicking here) Not too late for my east coast fans and not too early for folks in the middle and my west coasters! I hope you can make it, Tamara! If not, my live events are recorded and waiting for you to watch on Facebook when you have time. It’s a great way to stay in the loop about what’s coming up at Jackpot.

Want a little sneak peak of what’s coming up in the next few weeks? Well, I’ve got one for you. Valentine's Day is right around the corner. I’m going to be doing some exciting giveaways that will let our fans know just how much we care! 

Besides giveaways, I’ll be showing off our sparkling snow earrings and necklace set and some fun product bundles, too. I can tell you right now that the jewelry is absolutely stunning. You won’t want to miss it!

What is the best way to store my candles?

Jade: Hi Kayla,

This is a great question. If anyone is sitting on a horde – I mean . . .collection of candles, it’s us! One day you have a few to make your room more inviting, the next you have candles for every season. That’s your hard-earned money sitting there!

Listed below are a few DOs and DON’Ts for storing candles so that your collection stays safe until you use them.

Candle Storage Tips – DOs

• Store candles away from heat sources so they don’t melt or light
• Store candles in a safe area where kids and pets can’t access them
• Store candles upright so they don’t warp, bend, or spill if they do melt
• Store candles in a cool, dry place that maintains a consistent temperature

Some great places to keep your candles are closets, cupboards, in your dry or finished basement, or any dresser drawers that aren’t occupied with other household items. 

Candle Storage Tips – DON’Ts

• Don’t store your candles in a cardboard box! Metal containers are best.
• Don’t freeze your candles – they could warp, crack, tunnel, or the wick could be damaged
• Don’t store in a place where they will be exposed to sunlight

If you follow these tips your candles will stay as nice as the day your bought them for up to a year in most cases. Store your candles like a pro so you can enjoy them as you like and buy a few more, too!
