Why does my candle flame get so high sometimes?

Jade: Hi Alyson!

Not to worry! I have some answers for you! Here's what you can do if your candle flame is getting a little strong.

While a strong or flickering candle flame isn't a fire hazard you may want to snuff it out just to be safe but also because the harder your candle burns, the faster it melts away. We want to help you get the most candle for your dollar!

You know how I'm always telling y'all to "Trim Yo' Wicks?" Yeah... it's for a good reason! If your candle wick is too tall when you start burning your candle it's going to burn hotter and faster and in turn create a higher, stronger flame. So, go out and get yourself a handy little wick trimmer or grab a pair of scissors. Pro tip: a pair of nail trimmers works great too. Now, go trim those wicks :)
