Hey Jackpot Candles Fam!

Happy Friday, Jackpot Candles fam! I'm Jade, and you've made it to my every-week vlog that I like to call Jade's Two Scents. This is my chance to talk about whatever I want... Which usually means some combination of the best scented candles; fun fizzy bath bombs; rings and necklaces; self care; and lots more. Thanks for joining me today!

We all have moods... It's okay, we can all admit it! Even me... Yep, even positive, perky Jade can get sad. And I can also get angry. And I can also get sleepy. And I can also get all wound-up... But luckily, I have some solutions for us.

As you've probably figured out by now... I have lots of CANDLES. And when I'm feeling some-type-of-way, I like to light them. I thought this would make an amazing episode of Two Scents - candles just help sometimes. Either to set the mood or to MAKE the mood. Let's get to it.

Today's Tips:

1.) Angry - Starting with the big one! Sometimes we get angry, it happens! When I start to feel that unpleasant sensation bubbling up inside of me, I like to go the exact opposite way with my candles. Think a day at the spa- how can you be mad when you're chilling at a spa?

2.) Restless/Active - Do you have a lot of energy, but you're not sure what to do with it? Got a million things on your mind, but not sure where to start? It's time to focus that energy with a fresh, zesty scent.

3.) Sleepy- if you want to keep the sleepy vibes going or you're in the mood for relaxation, you want to choose a scent that helps you stay in that tired (but relaxed) mindset.

4.) Sweet/Romantic - awwww! If you're ever feeling sweet or mushy or romantic, I like to light up a candle that's sweet on the nose! Think something gourmand, like a baked good or something fruity.

5.) Sad - if you're feeling a little bit blue, that's okay too! Every emotion you have is important - it's important to listen to yourself and allow yourself to feel your true feelings. Choose a refreshing scent or something that brings you to a more positive place, like the beach or your personal happy place.

6.) Happy - this is obviously my go-to emotion... What can I say, I'm a happy girl! What can you light for a happy mood? Opt for something zesty and light, maybe a citrus-scented candle, a scent that is known for sparking feelings of joy.

I want to quickly highlight two of my favorite selections from today. First, my happy selection - Maui Mai Tai. This candle is super tropical - think notes of papaya, citrus, and calamansi. For us, summer is still in full swing, and this is the perfect summery scent. Take yourself poolside or on a mental vacation with this tropical and fruity scent - it always puts me in a good mood! Next, I don't know about you, but I always have a million things on my mind. I have found one of the best ways to focus my mind is to light the super-unique, one-of-a-kind scent of Eucalyptus. Eucalyptus is perfect for taking your brain fog and sharpening it into a calm, collected focus... And it's no surprise that Eucalyptus is one of my absolute favorite scents.
