HOLY COW! Thanksgiving is this week!!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for tuning into another Jade's to Scents. My weekly vlog/blog about candles, life, and all things FUN! Cause I definitely try to be FUN! I bet you are all finalizing your dinner menu and planning out the oven space! But let's talk Thanksgiving traditions!! I'm gonna share my tradition then take a bit about some other traditions! I know for me my tradition now includes CANDLES!! I am bringing a warm apple pie candle to my brother's house for Thanksgiving day! Cannot wait! 

Parade

Watching the Macys Thanksgiving Parade is so fun to have it on in the background while you are cooking away! I always look for the Spongebob balloon. CLASSIC! 

Turkey trot

My family isn't the "hey! Look at that! We have some time! Let's go for a jog!" Kinda family. If only in my dreams, pretty sure I'd die if I went for a jog right now. BUT it is a wonderful tradition! Go for a great run and make room for some FOOD!

Friendsgiving

I Thanksgiving but with your friends, this has become very popular. That's when you have a designated day just to celebrate with your friends, everybody brings a dish and you just enjoy each other's company, reminisce on the past and shove your faces! 

Jade's Tradition

Since my brother has moved into his house we have spent our Thanksgiving there, it's just my immediate family, my mom, dad and brother, his fiancé and her dad, and of course me! It's wonderful and intimate and we can really enjoy each other's company without the stress of a dinner! We have a bigger dinner planned with the extended family but that's closer to Christmas. My Mom and I prefer plant-based alternatives so we are making a tofurkey in the crockpot and I am bringing the green bean casserole! Since Buffalo is the home of jackpot candles and the Buffalo Bills of course I will be celebrating by watching the bills game!

My most recent and favorite tradition is bringing a jackpot candle to our celebration! Since I love making content I will take pictures of the candles with a Thanksgiving dinner for a cute and festive post!

Warm apple pie is the go-to I will be bringing this one and lighting this one first. With fresh apples and aromatic cinnamon and lower notes of flaky crust, it will convince anyone that you are a baking expert. And it's always fun for all of us to get together and find out what ring is inside! Did I get a ring worth $5,000?!?

Pumpkin spice is a close second, pumpkin pie is an absolute necessity for Thanksgiving!! With a nice fresh dollop of whipped cream on top of your pie slice, it just makes the world seem OK. This candle smells like fresh pumpkin pie right out of the oven with a hint of vanilla! 

And of course, our November monthly club was curated around what this month means to you. Thanksgiving is a cozy time, the seasons are changing, it's getting colder and we all just want to cuddle up a bit more. The candle Warm & Cozy is a lovely caramel macchiato with sweet cream and freshly ground coffee notes. To pair with the candle is our Cup o' Cheer bath bomb! This is going to smell like hot chocolate and when you put it in your tub you're going to feel like a marshmallow in all the best ways. Your tub will look beautiful, your room will smell amazing, what's not to love with this club?!?
