Hey wick clique! How are you all? I wanted to address the smoke in the room… the smoke that appeared after you blew out your candle that is!

Blowing out your candle is definitely the easiest but it is definitely not the best way to extinguish your flame. So let’s talk options, if you’re extinguishing your would work the best way is to get a plate or a pan or a candle snuffer and deprive your flame of oxygen so that the flame will go out with minimum smoke. If you are extinguishing your double cotton wick candle the BEST WAY is to get a pen or a fork/knife or a wick dipper, or any non-flammable stick like object and dunk your wick into the melted wax. I demonstrated the difference in smoke from using this method compared to just blowing it out. You gotta try it! Trust me on this one! I used our naughty or nice candle to demonstrate this, which is definitely one of my favorite of the holiday candles. Inside will be a necklace that will tell you if you’re naughty or nice, make sure to check the inscription on the gem twice!
