flash sale - Candles $10 - Bath Bombs $5
There's nothing quite like the smell of baking a gooey, chocolatey treat. In fact, we were baking a batch of delicious fudge brownies when we came up with the idea for our Fudgy Brownie scented candle. As we formulated the recipe for our 100% soy wax candle, these are the brownies we were dreaming of!
These rich cocoa brownies have an extra fudgy and super dense consistency that we love to sink our teeth into. They are melty and gooey, with a crispy, crinkly top... The best part? They can be made in just a single bowl!
All you'll need for our Fudgy Brownie recipe is six (6) simple ingredients and a half an hour of your time. Next time you're looking for a quick chocolate fix, you'll know which recipe to reach for.
Don't fall for the boxed brownie mix! It's certainly advertised as being easy to use, especially for someone who has never made brownies from scratch before... This recipe should be a piece of cake (pun intended) for even the most amateur of bakers!
Start by melting your butter in a bowl. Believe it or not, the entire recipe is going to be mixed and prepared using this one bowl!
Use a microwave-safe glass bowl and zap your butter in the microwave until it has melted. Believe it or not, you're almost already done!
After the butter has melted, pour in the unsweetened cocoa and a cup of sugar and stir the mixture until it is completely blended. You want the brownie mixture to be smooth, with no lumps or pockets of powder.
Once you've got your butter/cocoa/sugar mixture ready, it's time to add the rest of the ingredients. Eggs, vanilla, and flour are the next to go in (you might also add salt during this step if you're using unsalted butter)... Add them all and start mixing!
Mix just enough so that all the lumps from the flour have disappeared, but not so much that you "overwork the batter," as this might cause chewy brownies. You're looking for one, homogenous mixture that looks the same throughout - but once you've achieved that look, it's time to stop mixing!
If you're feeling adventurous, this is now a good time to add any extra ingredients you may have chosen. A cup's worth is the perfect amount to add - simply fold them into the mixture. Need some ideas for fun additions? Try walnuts, raisins, m&ms, marshmallows, or chocolate chips!
