It's always good to refresh on your candle safety tips! Candles are tiny flames in your house, a little flame pet if you will. Let's run through these or check out my video for some more entertaining delivery!! 

1.   Before you light your candle make sure that there is nothing around it. No drapes, no plants, no lampshades, clothes, etc. right above it or near it. 
2. Candles are needy so don't leave it alone! Do not leave your candle unattended, make sure it is in your line of sight!
3. Do not burn your candle lower than 1/2 inch of wax! The wax helps to contain the heat of the candle flame and when you aren't burning wax you are practically burning glass. This can lead to it shattering or cracking. When it is lower than 1/2 an inch it's time to retire your candle!  
4. After burning your candle for 2/3 hours extinguish it, let it harden then go ahead and relight it! This will reduce your chance of blackening around the glass.
5. PLEASE don't reach in for your treasure hidden beneath the wax while your candle is still lit!!
6. OF COURSE!!! Please always TRIM YO' WICKS! It will make your flame manageable and make your candle experience so much better!
