Today we are talking about the benefits of trimming your wick! Every time you light your candle you should get into the habit of giving your candle's wick a little trim. it is going to result in... 

• a more controlled flame
• a more even burn
• your candle will last longer

Another pro-tip is to dip your wicks into the melted wax, it will ensure less smoke and completely extinguish your candle as opposed to when part of it is still slightly burning and it continues to create smoke. NOW I realize that yes I did blow it out at the end for theatrical purposes and I didn't have it lit too long to create the layer of wax needed to dip my wicks, and YES I did regret this decision 😅  I will be doing a dip yo wicks side by side soon!! 

You can use scissors or nail clippers are an excellent option for wooden wicks. But, we will have brand new wick trimmers as an option on our site very soon, and I can't WAIT! In conclusion, trim yo wicks!!
