When it comes to candle wax there is nothing we love more here at Jackpot Candles than soy wax because it’s better for the environment, and for you too, for so many reasons! Let’s talk a little bit about soy wax, and then I’ll tell you why it’s so great for use in our candles. 

Biodegradable 

Did you know that soybeans are biodegradable and renewable? While there are natural resources used to grow soybeans, they can be farmed responsibly and are less harmful to the environment.

Longer Lasting

Soy wax candles burn more slowly than paraffin candles, which makes them last longer and release their scent longer, too. That’s more of your favorite essential oil scent for you! We use wood and cotton wicks, which also contribute too!

Cleaner, With Easier Cleanup

One of the best things about Jackpot's soy wax products is that they produce less soot than other types of wax. This means that there is less residue on the jar when you burn – if you are burning safely. This makes it easier to clean the jar during and after your burn and means that your cozy vibe won’t be marred by dirty soot. 

Soy wax also cleans up more easily from surfaces so if you have a spill or splash (maybe because you tried to get your jewelry before it is fully exposed) you will be able to clean it up quickly. You can also wash your empty jar with soapy, warm water when your candle is gone then reuse them for storage. Fun!
